Modular scaffolding is a modern type of scaffolding that has replaced bracket scaffolding.
It makes possible the most complicated tasks:
Modular scaffolding are often used for masonry works because the working platform can be lifted with 0.5 m step, while the width of 1.09 m lets you keeping the construction materials on scaffolding.
Additional advantage of modular scaffolding is compatible with frame scaffolding. It means that scaffolding of both types are designed to be integrated in various scaffolding, be used in both scaffolding systems (platforms, stair steps, abuts, anchor bars, brackets, beams etc.).
The modular scaffolding system is based on the wedge lock principle. According to this principle, plate elements with 8 assembly holes are distributed on vertical posts after every 0.5 m. The holes have strictly defined shape and location. Tight and safe connection is ensured in the plate element hole of the post by installing a special wedge lock located at the end of beams, ties, brackets and other constructive elements. Such connection enables to create spatial constructions while various lengths of beams (0.73 m, 1.09 m, 1.57 m, 2.07 m, 2.57 m, 3.07 m) – to erect a scaffolding ‘network’ of desired configuration. Modular scaffolding elements by Altrad Mostostal LLC have galvanized surface ensuring the resistance against corrosion.
Modular scaffolding ROTAX by Altrad Mostostal LLC are certified in the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining of Warsaw that is confirmed Safety Certificate B/02/027/01.
